Al and I enjoyed your show at the Oyster Bar last month. It's fun to sit and watch your audience gettin into the bluegrass music. It takes us back to the good ol' days at the Monroe County Fairgrounds (1974). They would hold a Bluegrass Festival and it would begin at noon and go through the evening. We'd all take blankets, coolers, and sit on the side of the hill enjoying the different bands. Too bad those days are long gone here in Monroe County. Perhaps Al could pull some "strings" and get one together at the Waterloo Sportsman's Club!! I could see it being a huge success!

I'm getting pretty homesick out here in AZ. I truly miss family and friends but I always miss the good ole gap! Unfortunately I will miss the show in Dec and Jan. It never fails when I'm getting a little needy for my home, I can put on your CDs and my spirit is lifting and at home again. Thanks! Cecil what's up with the mando how to info? Can I buy it?

We have enjoyed listening to you guys for the last few (?) years at the Best of Missouri Market at the Missouri Botanical Gardens. Our kids (ages 5, 3, and 1) love your music as much as we do. We can't wait to see you this year. My 5 year old son can't wait to hear you sing "Trouble" again!

Great stuff. I caught you at the Great Pacific BBQ & Bluegrass festival. I think I have some good clips I hope to put up on my site - johnhartford.org. I've hit quite a few festivals around the country and I don't see why you guys shouldn't be playin' some of them. I saw a great set mix of tunes last Saturday. Keep up the great work. jkh
